Hey Travelers!
Bali, a place of amazing food, beach clubs, and white sand beaches. When you hear about Bali, you might think of day beach clubs and parties. Yes, it’s so, however, there’s so much more to Bali that you must experience. Especially great food, spas, and hotel stay.
I have visited Seminyak, Bali three times now. Once flying from San Francisco, USA and the other few times flying from Dubai, UAE.
Sleeping in Bali
Alila Seminyak
Suites Infinity & Beyond
Suites Infinity & Beyond is a private villa. There are many private villas that are available in Seminyak, Bali. Many of them look very similar to the one I stayed. My reasoning for staying at the Suites Infinity & Beyond was because of its location as its walking distance to the beach clubs, restaurants, and shops.
Other hotels and villas that I stayed at are Studios at Alila Seminyak; W Bali – Seminyak; Courtyard Bali Seminyak Resort; Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort; Astana Kunti Suite Apartments & Villa; Imani Suites; The Stones Hotel – Legian Bali, Autograph Collection.
Dining in Bali
Generally speaking the food in Bali is rich. The bounty of global cuisine on offer seems more apropos to a cosmopolitan city than a tropical island.
(Rose Social) VIN + Seminyak (Bar, Wine Bar) $$
VIN + Seminyak is an everyday dining spot that is open all day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make sure to grab a bottle of rose throughout the day and enjoy sipping it outdoors.
Kim Soo
Kim Soo is a very unique spot. Not only you can dine in, but also shop for home accessories. Everything you see in the photos you can purchase.
Bikini (International) $$$
Bikini Restaurant was the highlight of my trip to Bali. The food was not only delicious, but the presentation was spectacular. The menu changes constantly, so make sure to indulge yourself in all of these mouth-watering dishes.
Kilo Bali (Asian, Fusion) $$$
Kilo restaurant is the gem of dining in Bali. I had to go twice to this place because the food was simply that great!
Sea Salt Restaurant
SeaSalt is a seafood restaurant that is located inside the Alila Seminyak Hotel.
Other restaurants that I’ve tried that were beyond amazing are Mejekawi; Mason; Watercress Café; Mama San Bali; Kayuputi Restaurant; Hujan Locale; Pica South American Kitchen; Nusantara by Locavore; Sangsaka Restaurant.
Beach Clubs in Bali
Potato Head Beach Club (Bar) $$
Other beach clubs to check out: Ku De Ta; Cocoon Beach Club.
Spas
You haven’t truly visited Bali unless you’ve gone to the spa.
bvilla + spa
bvilla + spa is my favorite. I had gone twice for a massage and had a 4-hour treatment that included a charcoal body rub, Balinese massage, facial and all over body aloe vera treatment.
Other spas I’ve been to are AWAY Spa at the W Bali; Spa Alila; Spring Spa; Prana Spa Bali.
